Asteroids

Asteroids is a playful rebellion of logic, a space where the real and absurd coexist. Photography has traditionally been used as away to depict reality. Reality could be considered a series of common agreements that are prone to change due to new discoveries, beliefs or even misinformation. In the era of post-truth, this project reinterprets the laws of physics where the concept of upwards or downwards is unclear; diverse perspectives, proportions, vanishing points, and horizon lines belong in the same compound. These “Asteroids” are micro planets that are assembled in an attempt to create a different reality using as building blocks fragments of our everyday urban architecture.” ~ Maria Elisa Duque
